How comedy brings people together

Starting uni for me was slightly terrifying. Moving away from home, new surroundings, new room and having to cook for myself? Scary. When transitioning to new stages of life I have always managed to have someone I know alongside me to break the ice. This time however, I was going solo. When settling into class and discovering there were 9 people, I relaxed. 

Then I started waffling on about Friday Night Dinner...


The fact from this story was, from discussing/quoting a show I liked, I ended up finding people with the same interests and breaking the awkward ice of starting a new class.
